I am actually an "older" believer in Santa, but yet I still teach my two children the true meaning of Christmas. For Christmas I would like nothing for myself, but something for my children. I know that it is something you probably cannot deliver, but my son is always telling me he wants his daddy home for Christmas. You see, his dad and I were never married, but we see each other often. Dear Santa Its been a real bad year, medically and financially. I'm a grandmother with 6 grandkids, who I love with all my heart. The only thing I want is a "miracle" for them to have a good Christmas, which so far, I know they won't. I am a disabled cancer survivor and don't work. I can barely pay my own monthly bills, and expenses to survive. Their father is a kidney transplant patient who is currently going to receive dialysis again. He just found out that the kidney he received 7 years ago is failing and he needs to have another transplant, so he was put on the list for the third time. Their mother ( my daughter) who has never been sick a day in her life and has been superwoman in taking care of him and the kids, just recently in the last 8 weeks developed a lung disorder, that as of now after two emergency biopsy surgeries, is still undiagnosed. Along with this she is battling pneumonia. I watched her go from one day healthy and glowing, to pale, swollen, and ashy. When the doctor ordered her on full-time oxygen, so that she could breathe, as it was delivered to the house, I think that was my breaking point. My will and desire for any Christmas spirit is completely gone, and my heart has finally stopped crying, So after FIRST, praying for good health for all of us, if you can find it in you to create some kind of Christmas Miracle for my grandchildren, and restore my faith in the spirit of Christmas, Peace, and good will towards man....I will be forever grateful. Somehow, I will feel it, Santa, Please Help me and Thank You for allowing me to express myself. Sincerely, Grandma
